While I was wandering through Shinjuku station two weeks ago, I came across Lululun’s winter edition White Vanilla mask.
Lululun is a well known Japanese brand. I believe they are most famous for their face masks. They are affordable and the quality is good as well.
Lululun often releases limited edition as well as regional face masks. I’ve detailed some of the ones they offer in a previous post here.
Each resealable pack comes with seven masks inside so you can use them daily.
Lululun Limited Edition Winter 2018 White Vanilla Mask
The White Vanilla masks come in a set of 5 packets with seven masks in each back. The price without tax is 1,500 yen. With tax, the masks cost 1,620 yen.
Ingredients for supple and radiant skin:
- Snow Algae Powder
- Narcissus Essence
- White Tea Essence
Ingredients that improve your skin:
- Saxifrage Extract
- Glyceryl Glucoside
- Hyaluronic Acid
The ingredients in the second group are supposed to help your skin fight winter dryness, which I can tell you REAL here in Japan.
Finally, as you can guess by the name, it has a vanilla bean fragrance.
I’ve only used this kind twice so far, so I can’t speak to how it works long term. However, the two times I did use it (before bed), my skin wasn’t as dry as it usually is upon waking up. Also, I like the vanilla scent.
The only downside is that you have to buy these in a set of 5. I haven’t seen single packs yet. But, if you don’t mind a set of five or have someone you can share with, I would say give it a try!
